Student Field Education Manager
I was born and raised in Cary, North Carolina, in the Piedmont region. Growing up steps away from a neighborhood farm gave me an early love of farming and an appreciation for the role farms play in their communities. At Duke Campus Farm, I found a community dedicated to teaching sustainability, agriculture, and service. Helping others experience that community has been one of the most rewarding parts of my three years on the farm.
Today, I work alongside the Field Education Manager to lead the DCF student field crew. I teach crew members best practices, help them understand the farm’s day-to-day operations, and develop and carry out daily work plans to keep the farm thriving.
Outside of the farm and classes, I enjoy lifting, running, reading, and traveling. I also have a particular fascination with the apocalypse and am always up for a conversation about the future of AI and society.
