Gaby Dunn

Incoming Sloss Fellow

Gaby was born and raised in the small coastal community of Stuart, FL, where she grew up wading through estuaries, exploring mangroves, and catching critters. A proud Class of 2026 Duke Alumnus, she graduated with a major in Sociology and a minor in Creative Writing. During her four years, she led trips with Outdoor Adventures, taught baking classes for Durham senior citizens, rocked out to local live music, and became a fierce advocate for inclusivity and accessibility within the outdoors. Gaby is stoked to formally join the DCF community as their third Sloss Fellow and is eager to contribute her passions for storytelling, community, and the arts to DCF's critical role in building a more sustainable future.
