Hello! My name is Josie, and I am a part of the student field crew for the summer! I am a rising junior majoring in chemistry with a biochemistry concentration and a minor in Chinese. I became involved in the farm through community workdays on the weekends in the fall of 2022. I found the community from the farm very fulfilling and the act of farming rewarding. Other than the farm, I'm involved on campus as an RA, co-president of the Native American/Indigenous Student Alliance, and a student ambassador of the Duke Gardens. In my free time, I enjoy painting, hiking, and playing volleyball.
