He/Him

Luke was born in Minnesota and went to college in Vermont. Since then, he has lived in Wyoming, California, China, and Seattle, primarily as an environmental educator, helping students of all ages connect to nature, place, and self in outdoor spaces. He is in the first year of his dual degree program, working toward a Master of Environmental Management and Master of Forestry at the Duke Nicholas School. He is incredibly excited to join the vibrant community at the Duke Campus Farm as a crew member and a soil fertility fellow, helping to document and assess soil quality conditions and add to a growing longitudinal data set, and is looking forward to learning more about sustainable and equitable food systems!
