My name is Mira and I’m a senior studying biology and environmental science! I’m originally from Los Angeles, but I absolutely love North Carolina and hope to stay after I graduate. I’ve spent the last three summers of undergrad exploring food and forest systems in North Carolina and the South, particularly through the perspectives of plants, fungi, and soil, as well as the interactions between them. The farm has been one of my happy spaces at Duke for the past three years so I’m excited to be giving back as part of the programming crew! In my free time I like to go mushroom hunting, make earrings, and cook soups and stews.
