Root Causes is a student-led organization rooted in Duke's Medical School, focused on the underlying causes of illness and addressing these through education and outreach, community service, and advocacy. Our key collaboration with Root Causes is through donations to their Fresh Produce Program at the Duke Outpatient Clinic.

The West End Free Market is organized by CANDOR (Chronically-Ill, Austistic, Neuro-eclectic Disabled Organization for Reclaimation) and the West End Community Foundation. This market supports the West End, Lyon Park, and Lakewood communities by offering organic, local, high-quality fresh produce and dry goods for free, while also creating accessible employment opportunities folks with autism, disabilities, and neurodivergence.
