2023 Community Work Days
Summer work days are every thursday from 8am-11am.
Academic year Work Days are every Sunday from 1-4 p.m.
Hands-on work on the farm led by our student field crew. Our field crew, volunteers, and staff consistently say that their most memorable memories at DCF are the conversations they had over a shared wheelbarrow of mulch or while tackling weeds in a bed of carrots together. Come join us in the fields to lose track of time and experience profound community with plants, soil, and humans! Absolutely no farming experience is necessary, and there is no Duke affiliation required. We have tasks for most ages and abilities. We mean it when we say all are welcome, and no one will be turned away at the gate!
If you are coming to Community Workday with a group larger than 5, please email dukecampusfarm@gmail.com at least 48 hours in advance so that we can provide the right kind of support for your group.
