2023 Community Work Days
Work Days have concluded for 2023. Check back in February 2024 for an announcement of our first work day of the new year!
Academic year Work Days: Fridays, 1-4 p.m.
Join us for potlucks once a month after work days! All potlucks will occur on the first Friday of the month.
Come join us in the fields to lose track of time, be outdoors, practice embodied work, and experience profound community with plants, soil, and humans! Our students, volunteers, and staff consistently say that their most memorable memories at DCF are the conversations they shared over a wheelbarrow of mulch or while tackling weeds in a bed of carrots together. Absolutely no farming experience is necessary, and there is no Duke affiliation required. We have tasks for most ages and abilities.
Signing up in advance helps our crew gauge what tasks we should plan for; however, no one will be turned away at the gate.
If you are coming to Community Workday with a group larger than 5, please email dukecampusfarm@duke.edu at least 48 hours in advance so that we can provide the right kind of support for your group.
Please note that we are no longer able to provide free Lyft rides to students. See our sign-up sheet for information on carpooling.
